[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Deimos Loadouts That Are Excellent
Deimos is the newest operator in Siege, and if you’ve been following the recent cinematic releases from the game, you’d know that in Siege’s narrative, he’s the current villain. He is, however, a playable operator, which makes him a unique one because all of the other operators are on the good side.
With that said, he brings an all-new dynamic to Siege because his special gadget, the DeathMARK drone, is so great at intel-gathering that when used properly with a coordinated team, it could render roamers useless. Deimos, however, is deadly in more ways than one because of the arsenal of weapons and gadgets that he brings to the table.
5. AK-74M with Magnified B Scope, Compensator, and Laser + .44 Vendetta with Laser + Hard Breach Charge
Deimos is a great intel-gatherer and map control operator, and with the AK-74M and his unique .44 Vendetta, he can really perform those jobs well. That’s because after pinging his target with his DeathMARK drone and advising his teammates of the enemy location, he can perform suppressive fire or go straight for the kill due to the AK-74M's huge magazine capacity, and the .44 Vendetta’s heavy stopping power as well as its almost non-existent recoil.
The only drawback to using the AK-74M really is its pretty rough recoil, and since it can’t be equipped with grip attachments, additional recoil control benefits would fall on the barrel attachments. And for this loadout setup, the compensator will greatly reduce the weapon’s horizontal and random recoil from all directions. This will greatly stabilize AK-74M's weapon kick, which goes well with its suppressive fire capabilities brought by its huge magazine capacity.
Excels in:
- The compensator on the barrel of Deimos’ AK-74M assault rifle will greatly lower its horizontal and random recoil from all directions, which goes a long way in stabilizing the weapon’s overall recoil.
- The magnified B scope will allow Deimos to see his targets well when aiming-down-sights on his AK-74M assault rifle due to its high level of zoom and arrow tip reticle which promotes pinpoint accuracy
- The laser on Deimos’ AK-74M assault rifle will allow him to go into aim-down-sights stance faster than normal which is important for him due to the nature of his special gadget
- Similarly, the laser will also allow Deimos to go into aim-down-sights stance quicker than normal on his .44 Vendetta unique weapon which is the only weapon he can use when his DeathMARK is active
- The hard breach charge will provide Deimos and his teammates more ways to perform hard breaching which is great for vertical plays mostly but also works with horizontal pushes
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - AK-74M with Magnified B Scope, Compensator, and Laser
- Secondary weapon - .44 Vendetta with Laser
- Generic gadget - Hard Breach Charge

4. AK-74M with Magnified B Scope, Muzzle Brake, and Laser + .44 Vendetta with Laser + Frag Grenade
As mentioned before, the AK-74M assault rifle’s recoil can be quite challenging to stabilize and that’s exacerbated by it not being compatible with the vertical grip. But another way for players to tame the recoil of this weapon is to equip a muzzle brake on its barrel. The muzzle brake is popular for lowering the recoil of single-shot weapons like handguns and designated marksman rifles, but unbeknownst to many, it also works very well in stabilizing the recoil of fully automatic weapons like the AK-74M.
That’s because the muzzle brake greatly lowers the first shot recoil of weapons, and with fully automatic ones, that initial shot recoil is usually the strongest. That’s why with the initial weapon kick much lowered, the subsequent shots will feel much easier to hold. This setup is really good for sudden encounters because it will have the best short burst recoil on the AK-74M among all the AK-74M setups in this list. That also goes well with the aim-down-sights speed bonus from the laser attachment.
Excels in:
- Having really good aim on Deimos’ AK-74M assault rifle due to the magnified B scope which will provide the user with 2.5x zoom and an arrow tip reticle that’s great for pinpoint shooting
- Being able to go into aim-down-sights stance 10% faster than normal on Deimos’ AK-74M assault rifle due to the presence of the laser attachment which is great for sudden enemy engagements
- Having really good recoil control especially when it comes to short sprays due to the muzzle brake barrel attachment greatly lowering the first shot recoil of the AK-74M
- The laser on Deimos’ .44 Vendetta will allow the user to go into aim-down-sights faster than normal which is very important now that the devs have decreased the default ADS speed of weapons across the board
- The two frag grenades on Deimos’ arsenal as his generic are useful tools for flushing out enemies from their hiding spots which is great for Deimos’ when tracking a target who’s hiding behind cover

- Primary weapon - AK-74M with Magnified B Scope, Muzzle Brake, and Laser
- Secondary weapon - .44 Vendetta with Laser
- Generic gadget - Frag Grenade

3. M590A1 with Iron Sight + .44 Vendetta with Laser + Frag Grenade
This might be the riskiest loadout setup for Deimos. That’s obviously because of the limited range of the M590A1 shotgun, and with this loadout, the user will not have any full-automatic weapon at his disposal at all. However, it ranks high on this list because the pay-off is great. First, we have to take into consideration how Deimos’s DeathMARK works. When he’s alone, he kind of forces the enemy he’s tracking into a one-on-one situation. When Deimos is in good coordination with his teammates, he can advise them where the target is and they can box the enemy in.
In both situations, the M590A1 would be great. In a one-on-one situation, as long as Deimos properly times the cancellation of his DeathMARK, he can close the gap between him and his enemy so that he can take advantage of the close-range superiority from the M590A1 shotgun. And when it comes to working in coordination with his teammates, Deimos can use the high destruction rate per shot of the M590A1 shotgun to create rotation holes for outmaneuvering the target that he’s tracking.
Excels in:
- Having the close range superiority due to the M590A1 as Deimos’ primary weapon which can also be used for creating rotation holes which is effective for outmaneuvering enemies
- The iron sight on the M590A1 shotgun will allow Deimos to go into aim-down-sight stance 10% quicker than normal and its frame also doesn’t take up a lot of screen space
- The M590A1 shotgun not having a laser attachment will make it good for holding angles, while the user will still have a good aim-down-sight speed due to the iron sight instead of the laser
- Having an almost no-recoil weapon in the .44 Vendetta which also does high damage per shot. It also has a laser attachment which will allow the user to go in to aim-down-sight stance 10% faster
- Deimos having access to two frag grenades will allow him to flush enemies out of their entrenched positions, and that goes really well with the special ability of his DeathMARK drone.
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - M590A1 with Iron Sight
- Secondary weapon - .44 Vendetta with Laser
- Generic gadget - Frag Grenade
2. AK-74M with Magnified B Scope, Flash Hider, and Laser + .44 Vendetta with Laser + Hard Breach Charge
If what you’re looking for is the best recoil control on Deimos’ AK-74M assault rifle, this is the loadout setup for you. The flash hider barrel attachment is the best one for its recoil because it will lower its overall weapon kick. That means that the user will be able to utilize the weapon’s huge magazine capacity for suppressive fire without losing much control of the weapon. The flash hider, as its name implies, will also hide the weapon’s muzzle flash, reducing the number of visual cues that enemies could react to.
This loadout setup gives a lot of offensive capabilities to the Deimos player, regardless of range, due to the stability of the recoil on the AK-74M. The magnified B scope will provide the user with 2.5x zoom, so if the enemy is at long-range, they’ll still be able to see and target them well. And because the recoil, even when firing in long sprays, will be very manageable due to the flash hider, the user will have good accuracy even at medium to long range. As for sudden encounters at close range, the user will have good speed to react to it due to the aim-down-sights speed boost from the laser attachment.
Excels in:
- Having the best recoil control on Deimos’ AK-74M assault rifle due to the flash hider barrel attachment which will greatly lower the weapon’s overall vertical weapon kick and hide its muzzle flash
- The laser attachment will be great for sudden enemy engagements at close to medium range due to its 10% aim-down-sights speed boost on weapons
- The magnified B scope will provide the user with a high level 2.5x zoom when aiming-down-sights from Deimos’ AK-74M and that will provide them with great accuracy regardless of the range
- The .44 Vendetta handgun having a laser attachment is very important due to its 10% aim-down-sights speed boost because it’s the only weapon that Deimos can use while his DeathMARK drone is active
- The two hard breach charges as Deimos’ generic gadget will be great for destroying reinforced hatches in a vertical play but they can also be used for creating entry points on reinforced walls
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - AK-74M with Magnified B Scope, Flash Hider, and Laser
- Secondary weapon - .44 Vendetta with Laser
- Generic gadget - Hard Breach Charge
Recoil pattern test on the AK-74M in this setup with the author’s own recoil control applied:
1. AK-74M with Magnified B Scope, Suppressor, and Laser + .44 Vendetta with Laser + Frag Grenade
This is the best loadout setup for Deimos because the stealth benefits from the suppressor really works well with his DeathMark special gadget. When he’s tracking a target with his DeathMark drone, there will be a tracker on the target that is live, meaning that the tracking is real-time, and can be seen through walls. The catch is, Deimos can only use the .44 Vendetta while his DeathMark Drone is active. However, even when he deactivates it in the middle of tracking, chances are, he’s already got a good idea of the general location of the enemy.
And that’s where the suppressed AK-74M comes in. With a suppressor on the AK-74M, its shots won’t create a directional threat indicator as well as produce a muzzle flash. Its shots will also be much more silent than normal. That makes it a perfect weapon for suppressive fire as well as wall-banging, which Deimos would be able to do due to the intel that he's gathered from his DeathMark Drone. And even though the suppressor doesn’t add recoil control benefits, as long as the player paces their shots well, its weapon kick wouldn’t really go out of control.
Excels in:
- Effective suppressive fire and wall banging without providing the enemy with intel of where your shots are coming from due to the stealth benefits from the suppressor, especially its removal of the directional threat indicator.
- The laser underbarrel attachment on the AK-74M assault rifle allows the Deimos player to go into aim-down-sights stance 10% faster which is a great perk to have for sudden enemy encounters
- The magnified B scope providing the Deimos player with 2.5x zoom which will be great for accuracy since the player will be able to see their enemies very well and it also a has a great arrow tip reticle
- The .44 Vendetta almost has zero recoil despite its heavy stopping power. The Deimos player will also be able to aim-down-sights with it 10% faster due to the laser attached to it.
- The frag grenades would be great for forcing enemies out of their hiding spots and Deimos would know where an enemy is hiding due to his DeathMARK drone.

- Primary weapon - AK-74M with Magnified B Scope, Suppressor, and Laser
- Secondary weapon - .44 Vendetta with Laser
