Bolivia, the largest supplier of drugs in the world, accommodates the Santa Blanca drug cartel. The rising power of this organization has caused the region to be in turmoil. The United States’ Government acknowledges this situation and sends in an elite group of soldiers known as the Ghosts.

This is the first Ghost Recon game to feature an open world. The game has different settings like deserts, mountains, and snow. It is a combination of a first person and third person shooter along with a great deal of stealth as well as gunplay.
