[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Sens Loadouts That Are Excellent
Sens is easily one of the most fun operators to play, and they’re not just fun to play, they’re also one of the most tactical operators in the game. With their R.O.U. Projector System, they’re able to create huge walls of light that can provide a lot of cover for the whole attacking team’s push and defuser plant attempts. The long walls of light that suddenly appear can also cause panic in the enemy team, making them make mistakes.
Mistakes like immediately swinging Sens’ R.O.U. Projector System in an attempt to stop the attackers from planting the defuser, only to be met with heavy gunfire from the attacking team. Sens also has one of the newest weapons in the POF-9, and with their loadout choices which we’ll be discussing in this article, they really bring a more tactical approach to the game.
5. 417 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, Vertical Grip, and Laser + Gonne-6 + Hard Breach Charge
This loadout setup may be at the fifth place, but don’t mistake that for being not viable. In actuality, this is a very solid loadout for Sens and it complements her special gadget. Because of their role of providing a lot of cover for the attacking team’s push, Sens would mostly be performing backline support. And when it comes to dealing with enemies at medium range, the suppressed 417 is a great weapon. That’s because the suppressor will hide the 417’s directional threat indicator, remove its muzzle flash, and greatly dampen its gunshot sounds.
With that, when Sens is shooting behind the cover of their R.O.U. Projector System, the enemies will not know the direction of where their shots are coming from. That’ll prevent them from being able to effectively counterfire or know Sens’ exact position. The silencing of Sens’ 417-marksman rifle also means that they will be able to hear incoming enemies better even while they’re shooting, and that could prevent them from being caught off-guard by flanking enemies. As for the generic gadget, the hard breach charge will allow Sens to perform hard breaching on reinforced hatches or even walls.
Excels in:
- Inflicting heavy damage from the 417-marksman rifle without providing enemies with a directional threat indicator of where Sens’ shots are coming from
- Having a strong vertical recoil control on Sens’ 417-marksman rifle with the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Enemies will appear bigger on Sens’ screen due to the scope 2.0x making them much easier to hit
- Having the ability to neutralize a troublesome bulletproof defender gadget with the use of the Gonne-6 hand cannon
- Being able to destroy reinforced hatches or perform hard breaching on reinforced walls with the use of the hard breach charges
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - 417 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, Vertical Grip, and Laser
- Secondary weapon - Gonne-6
- Generic gadget - Hard Breach Charge
4. POF-9 with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Hard Breach Charge
The POF-9 assault rifle is an incredible weapon in that it inflicts a good amount of damage per shot, has a huge magazine capacity for an assault rifle, and its stock recoil is quite manageable, especially if you use the right attachments. With the POF-9, Sens really excels at providing cover fire for their teammates on top of providing them visual cover with their R.O.U. Projector System. But the main drawback to using the POF-9, especially after the massive recoil progression overhaul that dropped with Operation Brutal Swarm, is that its recoil can be quite challenging to hold.
Luckily, if the player’s priority is to have the best recoil control possible on their POF-9, it’ll be easy to achieve by simply attaching a flash hider and a vertical grip to it. Both attachments specialize in lowering weapons’ vertical recoil, and that goes a long way to controlling the overall recoil of the POF-9. As you can see from the recoil test screenshot below, one could fire around 40 bullets with the POF-9 in this loadout setup without losing much control, and that’s a great perk to have in Siege, especially when dealing with multiple enemies at once.
Excels in:
- Having the best recoil control possible on Sens’ POF-9 assault rifle with both the flash hider and vertical grip attachments present on the weapon
- Providing Sens with a good amount of zoom level with the scope 2.0x while not compromising a lot on peripheral view
- Making it harder for enemies to see exactly where Sens’ shots are coming from with the flash hider removing the POF-9's muzzle flash
- Being able to destroy a pesky bulletproof defender gadget or an unreinforced hatch with the use of the Gonne-6 hand cannon
- Having the ability to destroy reinforced hatches or perform hard breaching on reinforced walls with the use of the two hard breach charges
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - POF-9 with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - Gonne-6
- Generic gadget - Hard Breach Charge

3. 417 with Scope 2.0x, Muzzle Brake, Vertical Grip, and Laser + Gonne-6 + Claymore
The 417-marksman rifle is the most unique marksman rifle in the game and is certainly one of the most powerful. That’s because it has the tightest hip fire among all marksman rifles in the game, making it a great weapon not just for medium to long-range shooting but for close quarters combat as well. With this loadout setup, Sens will be making a lot of noise whenever they fire the 417-marksman rifle, but in exchange, they won’t even have to go into aim-down-sights stance when engaging enemies at close range.
That’s because the tight stock hip fire of the 417-marksman rifle will even be tighter because of the laser attachment, and because of both the muzzle brake barrel attachment and vertical grip, its recoil will be very easy to control. So when engaging enemies at close range, Sens will have the speed advantage because they won’t have to spend a second going to aim-down-sights stance to be able to hit their enemies. As for the secondary weapon, the Gonne-6 hand cannon is simply the best for Sens because it will provide them with the ability to destroy a bulletproof defender gadget, and that goes a long way into winning the round.
Excels in:
- Having the best recoil control possible on the 417-marksman rifle due to both the muzzle brake and vertical grip attachments
- Making the already tight stock hip fire of the 417-marksman rifle even tighter with the use of the laser attachment
- Providing Sens with a high level of zoom through the scope 2.0x without sacrificing a lot on peripheral view
- Providing Sens with the ability to destroy a troublesome bulletproof defender gadget with the use of the Gonne-6 hand cannon
- Countering roamers, flankers, run outs, or those who will attempt to swing the R.O.U. Projector System, with the use of the two claymores in Sens’ arsenal
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - 417 with Scope 2.0x, Muzzle Brake, Vertical Grip, and Laser
- Secondary weapon - Gonne-6
- Generic gadget - Claymore
2. POF-9 with Scope 2.0x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Claymore
Because of the recent buff on the extended barrel that dropped very recently, it has become a very popular barrel attachment. The extended barrel attachment now adds 15% damage on weapons, so it’s only natural that a lot of players would be attracted to using it. After all, having more damage on your weapon means you’d be able to take down your enemies quicker. On top of the additional 15% damage that now comes with the extended barrel, it retains its previous benefit of reducing the weapon’s range damage drop-off.
So with this loadout setup, Sens will be inflicting heavy damage and stopping power with their POF-9 from any distance. This is a great partner for the POF-9's huge magazine capacity since that means that Sens will be able to fire fifty heavy shots per magazine. The only downside to this is that the long barrel on the POF-9 caused by the extended barrel could be spotted first by enemies when Sens is peeking around corners or swinging their own R.O.U. Projector System. But that can easily be mitigated by the player being aware of this drawback and relying on quick peeks instead of slow ones.
Excels in:
- Inflicting heavier damage on Sens’ POF-9 assault rifle with the extended barrel now adding 15% damage on weapons
- Maximizing the damage potential and output of Sens’ POF-9 assault rifle with the extended barrel reducing its range damage drop-off
- Having a good amount of vertical recoil control on Sens’ POF-9 assault rifle with the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Making enemies appear bigger while aiming with Sens’ POF-9 assault rifle due to the high zoom level from the scope 2.0x
- Countering enemies that will flank you or swing your R.O.U. Projector System with the use of the two claymores in Sens’ generic gadget slot
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - POF-9 with Scope 2.0x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - Gonne-6
- Generic gadget - Claymore

1. POF-9 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Claymore
While it was hard to choose between this loadout setup and the one above on which one to put at the number one spot, ultimately this one should take the win. The added damage from the extended barrel on the POF-9 is great, but this loadout setup is a greater partner for Sens’ R.O.U. Projector System. That’s because with the suppressor on Sens’ POF-9 assault rifle, they could shoot enemies through their R.O.U. Projector System, and they won’t receive a directional threat indicator of where Sens’ shots are coming from.
The suppressor will also hide the POF-9's muzzle flash and greatly dampen its gunshot sounds. That will make it much harder for enemies to effectively return fire at Sens. Of course, this applies even when the R.O.U. Projector System isn’t involved. As you’ve probably noticed, for Sens’ secondary weapon, I only recommend the Gonne-6 hand cannon. That’s because it simply provides more versatility to Sens compared to the alternative which is the SDP 9mm handgun. Especially when the primary is the POF-9 assault rifle, due to its huge magazine capacity, it has a much less chance of having to reload in the middle of combat, so a handgun as a secondary weapon isn’t really that necessary.
Excels in:
- Shooting enemies with Sens’ POF-9 assault rifle with the suppressor removing the weapon’s directional threat indicator
- Making it much harder for enemies to ascertain Sens’ position with the suppressor greatly silencing the POF-9's gunshots
- Maintaining a great amount of vertical recoil control on Sens’ POF-9 assault rifle with the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Disabling pesky bulletproof defender gadgets like Maestro’s Evil Eye or Melusi’s Banshee with the use of the Gonne-6 hand cannon
- Scoring kills on enemies that will try to flank or run out with the use of the two claymores in Sens’ arsenal
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - POF-9 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - Gonne-6
- Generic gadget - Claymore
