[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Osa Loadouts
Team Rainbow’s newest shield operator. Her shield may not be as tough as Monty’s or Blitz’s, but it sure is more versatile. It can be deployed on many surfaces and be attached onto windows and doorways. The best thing is that in many cases, it can be used like Mira’s mirrors wherein you use it for gathering visual intel on your enemies. But what’s important is what comes after that. She comes into the game with an assortment of weapons that she can use to capitalize on the tactical positions that her shield provides.
5. 556XI with 2.5x Scope, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + PMM with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Smoke Grenade
She doesn’t need to be as loud as Monty or Blitz
Stealth may seem out of place for a shield operator. But for Osa who is at 2-speed 2-armor, and one that doesn’t always have to have her shield on, stealth play can work wonders. Stealth can also take you safer to strategic spots where you can maximize your shield’s benefits. Use your suppressed primary to shoot defender cameras and other gadgets to lessen the chances of your enemies being alerted to your presence.
If you’re able to pull off a stealthy deployment of your clear shield in a strategic spot. You’ll be able to strafe at your enemies from the safety of its cover while also lessening the chance of them immediately returning fire because the suppressor will prevent them from getting a directional threat indicator of where the shots are coming from and it also hides the muzzle flash of the gun. You can also use the smoke to pull off a smoke + shield + plant strat.
Excels in:
- Stealth
- Closes to medium range
4. 556XI with 2.5x Scope, Compensator, and Angled Grip + PMM with Suppressor + Claymore
Smoother recoil for a smooth operator
The compensator will lessen the 556XI’s recoil diamond, which is pretty big. Basically, it reduces the recoil of the gun from all directions, including random recoil. With this, you’ll have a more stable and smoother feel when it comes to long, sustained fire. It’s a great partner for the 2.5x scope which will give you more accuracy benefits for medium to long range firing.
The angled grip, meanwhile, will give you the speed that you need to go to aim-down-sights (ads) position. This is very important especially after deploying your shield and an enemy comes to your sight. With this loadout, you’ll have a balance of recoil and speed benefits.
Excels in:
- Any range
3. PDW9 with 1.5x Scope, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + PMM with Suppressor + Claymore
It’ll be easier to hit them with this one
The PDW9 has lower damage than the 556XI but its recoil is much lower and its bullet capacity per magazine, at 50, is a lot higher. With this and your clear shield, you’ll be able to keep harassing your enemies, and with great accuracy at that, since the compensator will make your recoil more stable, as explained above, and the vertical grip will reduce it even further.
Use your suppressed handgun for shooting defender cameras and other gadgets when the area is clear. This will prevent enemies from instantly knowing where you are, and use the claymore to protect your rear from roamers or runouts. This is very important for Osa who usually has to stay put in one place with her shield for prolonged periods of time.
Excels in:
- Close to medium range
2. PDW9 with 1.5x Scope, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + PMM with Suppressor + Claymore
Providing the speed that you need
The process of deploying and attaching your shield may leave you vulnerable from flanking enemies, but the angled grip may save you from that in a lot of cases because it will allow you to aim at them faster and counter attack. The flash hider will further lower the PDW9’s inherently low recoil, giving you great accuracy and control with this gun.
Speaking of accuracy, the 1.5x will provide you with a good enough zoom to see your targets clearly even from medium range, without giving you any field of view disadvantages at close range.
Excels in:
- Close to medium range
1. 556XI with 2.5x Scope, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + PMM with Suppressor + Claymore
For more experienced players
With enough practice, you’ll be able to effectively use the 2.5x scope in close range with flick shots. And when it comes to flick shots, there’s no better attachment than the angled grip. This loadout will give you the offensive superiority with its high damage and speed. The flash hider also has a hidden benefit apart from those mentioned above. Some guns have a strong muzzle flash that can blur your vision while you’re shooting. The flash hider eliminates that, while also preventing your enemies from instantly noticing where you’re shooting them from.
Excels in:
- Close to medium range
