[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Kaid Loadouts That Are Excellent
Kaid is the most effective anti-breach operator in the game right now because his special gadget, the “Rtila” Electroclaw, has a wide reach and can be attached to almost all surfaces in the game. Because of that, he’s also the only defender right now that can prevent reinforced hatches from being breached.
Bandit has his “Bandit Trick” that is very effective at preventing hard breaches as well, but his anti-breach capabilities are limited only to walls. As for Kaid, his weapon and utility choices provide him with not just heavy firepower but a lot of versatility as well.
5. AUG A3 with Red Dot A, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + LFP586 with Laser + Barbed Wire
The AUG A3 is the primary weapon of choice for many Kaid players because unlike the alternative, the TCSG12 single slug firing shotgun, it’s fully automatic and is therefore easier to use in most enemy engagements. For its barrel attachment, the compensator is a solid choice because it lowers the tendency of the weapon for horizontal recoil. The compensator does that by reducing the weapon’s recoil diamond size, effectively reducing its propensity for random recoil from all directions as well. The good news is, the devs are planning to give a buff to the compensator soon, making it more effective at reducing the weapon’s horizontal and random recoil from all directions.
Because of the recoil control benefits from the compensator, it tends to provide a more stable firing experience to the user, especially when it comes to longer sprays. The vertical grip on the other hand will provide Kaid with a good vertical recoil control on his AUG A3, so this loadout setup will have a good balance between horizontal and vertical recoil control. For the secondary weapon, the LFP586 handgun will provide Kaid with more versatility through its high destruction profile per shot. With the LFP586, Kaid will be able to make kill holes or more lines of sight on unreinforced walls.
Excels in:
- Reducing Kaid’s AUG A3’s horizontal and random recoil from all directions with the use of the compensator barrel attachment
- Maintaining a good amount of recoil control on Kaid’s AUG A3 with the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Providing Kaid with good precision when aiming-down-sights on his AUG A3 with the use of the red dot A 1.0x sight
- Having heavy firepower and high destructive capabilities with the LFP586 handgun which is excellent for finishing enemies or for making more lines of sight
- Slowing enemies down with the use of the barbed wires which can also serve as early warning devices on flanking spots
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - AUG A3 with Red Dot A, Compensator, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - LFP586 with Laser
- Generic gadget - Barbed Wire

4. AUG A3 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + LFP586 with Laser + Nitro Cell
This is a great loadout for Kaid because it offers great balance between recoil control and speed on his AUG A3 submachine gun. The AUG A3 has a pretty steep vertical recoil, especially after the massive recoil progression overhaul that dropped with Operation Brutal Swarm. That’s why it’s best to have at least one recoil benefit providing attachment present on the weapon, and in this loadout setup, it will be the flash hider. The flash hider specializes in weakening the vertical recoil of weapons and that’s perfect for the AUG A3 whose weapon kick mainly stems from its vertical recoil.
And since you’ll already have one attachment on the AUG A3 that is going to handle its vertical recoil in this loadout setup, you’ll be free to run with the angled grip instead of the vertical one. With the vertical grip, you’ll be able to go into aim-down-sights faster, therefore, you’ll be quicker to react to enemies. That speed boost will give you a big advantage in close quarters combat, especially when you’re dealing with more than one enemy. And speaking of dealing with more than one enemy, the explosion power from the nitro cell can take out multiple enemies when thrown with good accuracy.
Excels in:
- Having a good vertical recoil control on Kaid’s AUG A3 submachine gun due to the presence of the flash hider barrel attachment
- Reducing the visual cues that enemies could see when Kaid is shooting at them with his AUG A3 with the flash hider removing its muzzle flash
- Being able to go into aim-down-sights stance faster with the use of the angled grip attachment which is great for sudden enemy encounters
- Having a secondary weapon in the LFP586 handgun which has a heavy stopping power and great destructive capabilities
- Blowing up multiple enemies using the nitro cell which is also great for repelling defuser plant attempts and shield operators
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - AUG A3 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip
- Secondary weapon - LFP586 with Laser
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell

3. AUG A3 with Red Dot A, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + LFP586 with Laser + Nitro Cell
This loadout setup is for players who are aggressive and values heavy firepower more than anything. That’s because with this loadout, you’ll have maximum damage on Kaid’s AUG A3 submachine gun due to the barrel attachment. The barrel attachment now adds 15% damage on weapons thanks to a recent buff, and it retains its previous benefit of greatly reducing the weapon’s range damage drop-off. So with this loadout setup, you’ll have the best damage you can have with the AUG A3 and you’ll excel at damaging enemies from any range.
While the extended barrel provides more damage, the vertical grip will provide you with a good vertical recoil control on the AUG A3. With the vertical grip, you’ll be able to handle its weapon kick well and therefore be able to hit enemies with it with good accuracy. For the secondary weapon, you’ll have great utility in the LFP586 because of its destructive power. With this gun, you’ll be able to create head-high holes, foot holes, and more lines of sight. It’s also great for finishing off enemies when your AUG A3 needs to reload due to its heavy firepower and manageable recoil.
Excels in:
- Having the best damage on the AUG A3 regardless of range due to the extended barrel reducing its range damage drop-off
- Having more firepower on Kaid’s AUG A3 with the use of the extended barrel which now adds 15% damage on weapons
- Maintaining good vertical recoil control on the AUG A3 due to the presence of the vertical grip attachment
- Using the LFP586 handgun as a utility for creating head-high holes, foot holes, and more lines of sight
- Being able to finish off your enemies when your AUG A3 needs to reload with the use of the high powered LFP586 handgun
- Taking out multiple enemies with the use of the nitro cell which can also be used as an early warning device at times
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - AUG A3 with Red Dot A, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - LFP586 with Laser
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell
Recoil pattern test on the AUG A3 in this setup with the author’s own recoil control applied:
2. AUG A3 with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + LFP586 with Laser + Nitro Cell
This is the best loadout setup for Kaid players who prefer the AUG A3 submachine gun as their primary weapon over the TCSG12 shotgun. Mainly because the suppressor as its barrel attachment will provide the player with the best shooting experience with the weapon. The suppressor on the AUG A3’s barrel will make enemies slower to react to your gunshots because it will hide the weapon’s directional threat indicator and muzzle flash. Therefore, the enemies won’t immediately know where you’re shooting them from.
On top of that, the suppressor will greatly silence the AUG A3’s gunshots, making it even harder for enemies to pinpoint your location through that particular audio cue. As for its grip attachment, since the suppressor doesn’t provide recoil benefits, it’s important to run with the vertical grip to ensure that the player will still be able to manage the AUG A3’s weapon kick. For the generic gadget in this loadout setup, the nitro cell will provide Kaid with a chance to score kills against multiple opponents or on an enemy that is attempting to plant a defuser. It’s also an excellent utility for countering shield operators like Blitz.
Excels in:
- Being able to shoot enemies without them immediately realizing where you’re shooting from with the suppressor hiding the AUG A3’s directional threat indicator
- The suppressor on the AUG A3 submachine gun removing the weapon’s muzzle flash could make it a bit harder for enemies to pinpoint your location
- Being able to shoot enemies or their gadgets without creating a lot of noise with the suppressor greatly silencing the AUG A3’s gunshots
- Being able to use the LFP586 handgun as a utility for reworking the map to your advantage due to its high destructive shots
- Countering defuser plant attempts and shield operators with the use of the nitro cell in Kaid’s generic gadget slot
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - AUG A3 with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - LFP586 with Laser
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell
Recoil pattern test on the AUG A3 in this setup with the author’s own recoil control applied:
1. TCSG12 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + .44 Mag Semi-Auto + Barbed Wire
The TCSG12 is ultimately the best primary weapon for Kaid in most situations and that’s why it’s number one. That's because the TCSG12 shotgun will provide a lot of versatility to Kaid in terms of firepower and his ability to rework to map to his team’s advantage. As mentioned in the above entries, the LFP586 handgun has great destructive power and can open more lines of sight on unreinforced walls. However, it cannot destroy wooden beams on walls and hatches, therefore, it cannot create rotation holes or destroy unreinforced hatches.
But the TCSG12 can, so with this loadout setup, Kaid wouldn’t just be inflicting heavy damage per shot to his enemies, he would also be able to really rework the map to his team’s advantage. The suppressor is the only choice for the TCSG12’s barrel attachment so it just makes sense to equip it since it won’t have any drawbacks on the weapon and it will provide the player with great stealth benefits. As for the generic gadget, the barbed wires are very underrated because they can’t kill like the nitro cell does, but they’re excellent in preventing enemies from sneaking behind you, especially when you electrocute them with Kaid’s Electroclaw.
Excels in:
- Having the ability to create rotation holes and more lines of sight due to the destructive power of the TCSG12 shotgun
- Shooting enemies without providing them a directional threat indicator of where your shots are coming from due to the suppressor on the TCSG12
- Being able to see enemies clearly without sacrificing a lot of peripheral view with the use of the scope 2.0x on Kaid’s TCSG12
- Having a high-powered secondary weapon in the .44 Mag Semi-Auto which also has a high-powered scope that provides great zoom level
- Being able to guard flanking points with the use of the barbed wires especially if they’re electrocuted by Kaid’s Electroclaw
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - TCSG12 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - .44 Mag Semi-Auto
- Generic gadget - Barbed Wire
