[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Ela Loadouts That Are Excellent
Ela is one of the most dreaded roamers in the game because of her Grzmot Mines which effectively acts as traps. Once detonated, any operator that is caught in its effects will experience heavy concussion that would last for several seconds. That concussion could prevent them from effectively sensing Ela who would be coming to finish them using the excellent weapon choices that she has.
And I’m not only talking about her primary weapon choices. Her secondary weapon, the RG15 handgun is a force to reckon with and is effective even at long distances due to its stock Romeo1 Reflex sight. With this article, we’re going to go more into the best loadout choices that are available to Ela.
5. Scorpion Evo 3 A1 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + RG15 with Suppressor + Deployable Shield
Ela’s Scorpion Evo 3 A1 is famous for its rough recoil, but it does have a very fast rate of fire and huge magazine capacity for a submachine gun. So if Ela is able to control its recoil well while shooting enemies, she’ll be very effective at fragging them. And for a lot of players, having the best possible vertical recoil is what allows them to really control a weapon’s recoil. With the vertical recoil put to its lowest possible state, the player will mostly only have to worry about the Scorpion Evo 3 A1’s horizontal and random recoil from all directions.
The flash hider will also remove the Scorpion Evo 3 A1’s muzzle flash which could make it a bit harder for enemies to spot where exactly you’re shooting them from at medium to long range. And speaking of those distances, it’s better to stick with short sprays with this weapon due to its rough recoil and the recent recoil progression overhaul that made it harder to control the recoil of weapons, especially during long sprays. The deployable shield is a great utility that adds cover for Ela or her other teammates and will allow them to hold angles more effectively.
Excels in:
- Having the best vertical recoil control possible on the Scorpion Evo 3 A1 with the use of both the vertical grip and flash hider attachments
- Reducing the visual cues that enemies could react to with the flash hider removing the Scorpion Evo 3 A1’s muzzle flash
- Having good accuracy with the Scorpion Evo 3 A1 due to the simple center dot reticle from the Red Dot A 1.0x sight
- Being able to silently shoot attacker drones, claymores, and other gadgets with the use of the suppressed RG15 handgun
- Providing extra cover for Ela or other teammates with the deployable shield generic gadget which is really effective at holding angles
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - Scorpion Evo 3 A1 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Deployable Shield

4. Scorpion Evo 3 A1 with Red Dot A, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + RG15 with Suppressor + Deployable Shield
When it comes to controlling the rough recoil of the Scorpion Evo 3 A1, the compensator is an overall better choice for its barrel attachment than the flash hider. That’s because the weapon has huge recoil diamonds and is therefore prone to horizontal and random recoil from all directions, and the compensator’s special effect is reducing the size of a weapon’s recoil diamond. So with this setup, Ela would have a more stable shooting experience with her Scorpion Evo 3 A1, especially when it comes to longer sprays.
The vertical grip will be the attachment in this loadout setup that will hold the Scorpion Evo 3 A1’s vertical recoil, so Ela would have a good balance between horizontal and vertical recoil reduction. For the secondary weapon, the suppressed RG15 will allow Ela to shoot attacker drones, claymores, and other gadgets with less risk of alerting them. The RG15 is also a great handgun for medium to long-range shooting because of its stock Romeo1 Reflex sight which features a center dot reticle. That will allow Ela to shoot at enemies with pinpoint accuracy regardless of distance.
Excels in:
- Reducing the Scorpion Evo 3 A1’s horizontal and random recoil from all directions with the compensator reducing its recoil diamond size
- Maintaining a good amount of vertical recoil control with the Scorpion Evo 3 A1 with the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Having great precision on the RG15 handgun due to the Romeo1 Reflex’s simple center dot reticle which is great for all distances
- Being able to shoot attacker drones, claymores, and other utilities without alerting them to your presence through the use of the suppressed RG15 handgun
- Providing extra cover for you and your other teammates with the deployable shield generic gadget which is great for holding down an angle
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - Scorpion Evo 3 A1 with Red Dot A, Compensator, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Deployable Shield

3. Scorpion Evo 3 A1 with Red Dot A, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip + RG15 with Suppressor + Barbed Wire
This is the best loadout setup for Ela players who prefer the Scorpion Evo 3 A1 as their primary weapon. That’s because it will provide them with the best recoil control on the weapon, and that’s primarily due to the muzzle brake barrel attachment. The muzzle brake specializes in reducing the recoil of single-shot weapons like most handguns or marksman rifles, but it works on fully automatic weapons as well by reducing their first shot recoil. That has a high tendency of stabilizing the overall recoil of the gun, especially for weapons like the Scorpion Evo 3 A1 which has a strong first shot recoil.
With the vertical grip providing Ela with a lot of vertical recoil control on her Scorpion Evo 3 A1 and the muzzle brake greatly weakening its first shot recoil, Ela would really have a stable shooting experience with it. As for the barbed wires, it’s a great utility for guarding the objective spot because they can act as early warning devices. Opponents who would walk over them would be greatly slowed down while producing sound that would be enough to warn the defenders inside the objective spot. And if they try to destroy the barbed wires, it will also create a lot of noise. Of course, this is really effective for guarding the flanking spots when Ela is roaming as well.
Excels in:
- Having the best recoil control on the Scorpion Evo 3 A1 because the muzzle brake will weaken its first shot recoil and that will stabilize its subsequent shots
- Maintaining a great amount of vertical recoil control with the Scorpion Evo 3 A1 with the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Having great precision when shooting from any distance using the RG15 handgun because of its Romeo1 Reflex sight
- Shooting attacker utilities with much less risk of alerting them through the use of the suppressed RG15 handgun
- Guarding the objective spot or flanking spots through the use of the barbed wires which are also great early warning devices
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - Scorpion Evo 3 A1 with Red Dot A, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Barbed Wire

2. FO-12 with Reflex B, Suppressor, Vertical Grip, and Laser + RG15 with Suppressor + Barbed Wire
The FO-12 shotgun is harder to use than the Scorpion Evo 3 A1 submachine gun obviously because it’s not fully automatic and as a shotgun, it has a very limited range. However, the FO-12 shotgun overall is the better the primary weapon for Ela because it provides her with more versatility, and the RG15 handgun is very capable of acting as a primary weapon for medium to long-range shooting. With the FO-12 shotgun, Ela will easily be able to create rotation holes or more lines of sight which can really help in setting up the objective spot for the whole defending team.
As for roaming, using the FO-12 shotgun will allow Ela to quickly create escape holes or destroy unreinforced hatches which is great for outmaneuvering enemies. What’s great about this loadout setup is that the suppressor will allow Ela to do all the aforementioned things with the FO-12 silently and therefore with much less risk of giving away her position to her enemies. It would also make it even harder for enemies who are caught in the Grzmot Mine’s effects to counter attack because they’d have a harder time hearing and seeing where Ela’s shots are coming from
Excels in:
- Being able to create rotation and escape holes as well as destroy reinforced hatches when roaming using the FO-12 shotgun
- Making it harder for enemies who are caught in the Grzmot Mine’s effects to see and hear where Ela’s shots are coming from
- Having good recoil control on Ela’s FO-12 shotgun due to the presence of the vertical grip attachment
- Tightening the FO-12 shotgun’s hip fire spread through the use of the laser attachment, making it much more effective at close to medium range
- Having great accuracy when shooting enemies at any distance due to the Romeo1 Reflex sight of the RG15 handgun
- Providing early warning devices that could also slow enemies down on flanking spots and entrances of the objective spot with the barbed wires in Ela’s inventory
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - FO-12 with Reflex B, Suppressor, Vertical Grip, and Laser
- Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Barbed Wire

1. FO-12 with Reflex B, Extended Barrel, Vertical Grip, and Laser + RG15 with Suppressor + Barbed Wire
Normally I would pick the suppressor over the extended barrel even after the 15% damage buff that they recently added to the latter. But in Ela’s FO-12, the extended barrel is just objectively better. The thing is, Ela’s FO-12 shotgun has always had a good range compared to most shotguns in the game because of its low range damage drop-off. Attaching the extended barrel to it will make its effective range even higher because it specializes in reducing the range damage drop-off of weapons, and now it even boosts the damage of weapons.
So with this loadout setup, Ela will be maximizing the damage output and potential of the FO-12 shotgun as well as adding more damage to it. It basically makes an already devastating weapon into something much more deadly. The laser will also tighten its hip fire pellet spread, so even when it comes to firing from the hip, the FO-12 will have a pretty long range, which is always great to have for a shotgun. With this loadout setup, Ela will be able to take enemies down with just one or two shots at close range, especially when they’re caught in the effects of her Grzmot Mines.
Excels in:
- Maximizing the damage output and potential of the FO-12 shotgun with the extended barrel reducing its range damage drop off
- Adding more damage to the FO-12 shotgun with the recent buff that adds 15% damage from using the extended barrel
- Having a really good vertical recoil control on the FO-12 shotgun through the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Shooting enemy drones and other utilities with much less chance of alerting them through the use of the suppressed RG15 handgun
- Guarding flanking spots or entrances with the barbed wires which slows down enemies and can act as early warning devices
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - FO-12 with Reflex B, Extended Barrel, Vertical Grip, and Laser
- Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Barbed Wire
