15. BOSG.12.2 Shotgun
There are not a lot of guns in Siege that can take an enemy down with a single shot to the torso. In fact, there’s only two of them, and one of them is this bad boy right here. Modeled after the single-slug shooting shotguns that big game hunters use, this gun is designed to take down huge animals, so it's only expected that it can take down operators in the game with just one or two shots. This gun features very heavy damage and high destructive force per shot.
Its biggest weakness is it only has two shots before it has to reload, so the user has to be careful and sure when he’s taking a shot, and its reload speed is quite slow. However, it’s highly customizable on the grip and scope department. For its grip, the player can opt for the vertical grip for more recoil control especially since its two shots can be fired in quick successions, and he has the option to go for the angled grip which will allow him to go into aim-down-sights (ADS) position quicker than normal.
What Makes BOSG.12.2 Great:
- Capable of neutralizing targets regardless of armor rating with just one shot at its optimal range. Light armored ones will be taken down with one shot at longer ranges.
- Highly customizable grip area allowing users to modify it according to their preference. Whether that be speed or recoil control.

14. T-95 LSW Light Machine Gun
Ying’s custom 5.56x45mm caliber LMG is easily one of the best light machine guns in the game. It has all the features that make light machine guns in the game so devastating, which are their high damage, low recoil, and large magazine capacity. But what sets apart the T-95 LSW from most typical light machine guns in the game is its fast reload speed. And that is because this beauty has a detachable magazine so it can finish reloading within three seconds, so it honestly feels a lot like an assault rifle or a submachine gun.
It feels that way because the weapon is very light due to its fast rate of fire compared to most typical LMGs and yes, its fast reload speed. Another great thing about the T-95 LSW is the wide variety of attachments available to it. That, and its low stock recoil allows the user to customize it more because he can attach a suppressor and an angled grip on it instead of attachments that provide recoil benefits and its recoil would still be very manageable. And because of the weapon’s high standard damage, it will still inflict heavy damage even with a suppressor on its barrel.

13. Para-308 Assault Rifle
The Para-308, like its exclusive owner, Capitao, is one of the most underrated weapons in the game. This more compact variant of the FAL has high stopping power and inflicts heavy damage with each shot. Others say that its weakness is its 650rpm rate of fire, but I don’t really view that as a weakness because 650rpm is not really slow. Besides, because of its heavy damage per shot, it can take down enemies with just a few shots at its optimal range.
Aside from its heavy damage, its other strengths are its very manageable recoil, good magazine capacity, and most importantly, the wide variety of attachments available to it. It has all the barrel attachments for the user to choose from, as well as both the angled grip and the vertical grip. And since it has a very manageable stock recoil, the user can equip it with an extended barrel so that the weapon will inflict heavy damage regardless of range, and the angled grip which will allow the user to go into ADS position faster.
What Makes Para-308 Great:
- Heavy damage and stopping power allow the user to make quick work of his enemies, especially at the weapon’s optimal range.
- Availability of a wide variety of attachments makes it highly customizable according to the user’s playstyle

12. C8-SFW Assault Rifle
It can be a bit of a challenge to hold this weapon’s vertical weapon kick, but the good thing is that its recoil pattern only goes on a straight vertical path, and its recoil diamonds are small. That means that the user will only have to worry about holding down its vertical recoil and the weapon wouldn’t be prone to random horizontal recoil. This makes the C8-SFW very manageable to hold down even when shooting long bursts with it, especially when equipped with a flash hider or a muzzle brake for its barrel attachment.
Players having a good recoil control on their own can also opt for the extended barrel which will allow the weapon to inflict heavy damage on the enemies regardless of range because the extended barrel greatly reduces the weapon’s range damage drop-off. Another great thing about this assault rifle is its fast rate of fire, which is perfect for Buck’s role as an entry fragger and dealing with enemies in the front lines. It’s also great for Buck when he’s performing a vertical attack where enemies can suddenly appear on his line of sight.

11. 417 Marksman Rifle
Just from the intimidating look of its muzzle brake attachment you’d know that this one inflicts heavy damage for each bullet that it shoots and you would be right. With 69 damage per shot, it is among the most powerful weapons in Siege and could neutralize an enemy with just a few shots at any range. And that remains to be the case even when the user attaches a suppressor to its barrel instead of the muzzle brake, in favor of its stealth benefits like hiding the muzzle flash, hiding the directional indicator of gunshots, and dampening the sound of its gunfire.
It is a designated marksman rifle but because of the availability of the 1.5x and 2.0x scopes, it can work well at close range as well. Both of those scopes will provide the user with good enough zoom to be able to see targets clearly, while not being so disadvantaged at close range. Another reason why it works well at close quarters combat is because it has a very tight hip fire, especially when a laser sight is attached to it. Each shot also has a high penetration and destruction profile, which means that it can heavily damage enemies behind soft walls, puncture huge holes on them, and destroy hatches with just a few shots.
What Makes 417 Great:
- Heavy stopping power and damage per shot and is capable of neutralizing enemies with just a few shots from any range
- Its very tight hip fire especially when equipped with a laser sight makes it effective at close range as well unlike most marksman rifles

- The wide variety of scope attachments available to it allows the player to modify it according to the range that he’s planning to fight from

10. G36C Assault Rifle
Exclusive to Iana and Ash, this assault rifle is perfect and is well suited to those two operators who are great at penetrating the objective area and entry fragging. That is because it has a faster than average rate of fire, good amount of damage per shot, and can be modified for faster aiming. With Ash, it even has a 1.5x available to it, which is great for close to medium range shooting because it provides the user with a good amount of zoom to make enemies appear bigger while not sacrificing a lot of peripheral view at the same time.
As for modifying it for faster aiming, the user can equip it with an angled grip which will allow him to go into ADS stance faster. That is great when entry fragging and the user will have to aim at enemies that suddenly appear on his sight fast. And even without the recoil benefits from the vertical grip, the G36C’s recoil will remain manageable especially with a compensator which will reduce its horizontal recoil.
What Makes G36C Great:
- Above average rate of fire for an assault rifle. Is great for entry fragging and dealing with enemies fast while penetrating the objective area.
- Availability of the angled grip allows the user to customize it more in favor of going into aim-down-sights fast
- The 1.5x scope that is available for Ash is perfect for her role as an entry fragger and will provide a good amount of zoom without sacrificing a lot of peripheral view

9. M4 Assault Rifle
Maverick’s exclusive assault benefits from a wide variety of attachments available to it. It has all the barrel attachment choices, as well as both the grip choices. This makes it highly customizable for the user’s preferred range or playstyle. I highly advise players to go with the suppressor as its barrel attachment though, not just because it's one of the most badass looking suppressors in the game, but because it is what’s best for Maverick’s role and gameplay.
Because Maverick can melt portions of reinforced walls with his breaching torch, this allows him to create murder holes on them and have a view of the Defenders inside. With the suppressor dampening the weapon’s gunshot sounds, hiding the muzzle flash, as well as the directional threat indicator, enemies will not immediately know from which hole Maverick is shooting from. And with this weapon’s high damage output and manageable recoil, the user will be able to finish enemies off with just a few well-placed shots.

8. SPSMG9 Machine Pistol
This machine pistol, which has a good amount of damage, fast rate of fire, and very manageable recoil, is what makes Kali a very deadly attacker even at close range. This weapon can rival many assault rifles and submachine guns in the game and can basically function as a primary weapon in itself. So, with this on Kali’s arsenal, it is like she has a very high-powered designated marksman rifle for when she’s shooting from long range, and she still has another high-powered weapon when she needs to engage enemies at close range.
With a 980RPM rate of fire, this weapon can make quick work of enemies at close to medium range, even when a suppressor is equipped to it. And unlike many weapons that has a fast rate of fire, this one retains a very controllable recoil and that is because its recoil pattern mostly goes vertical, so the user only has to worry about holding it down while shooting, which is much easier compared to how it looks like on its recoil pattern image. It’s even a better weapon now that all 1.0x are available to it, meaning the user can equip the sight that he or she is most familiar with, aiding a lot with its accuracy.
What Makes SPSMG9 Great:
- Fast rate of fire allows it to make quick work of enemies by shaving off their health points fast
- Availability of all 1.0x sight allows the user to equip the 1.0x sight he’s most accustomed with and benefit from more accuracy and shooting quality
- Very manageable recoil makes this weapon capable of dealing with enemies effectively even at medium range compared to most machine pistols

7. OTs-03 Marksman Rifle
Glaz’s designated marksman rifle is the best weapon when it comes to accuracy because it has a thermal scope which highlights enemies in a bright yellow hue, and that allows Glaz to easily differentiate enemies from all the clutter in the map. As a Glaz main myself, it’s always fun whenever I get to damage an enemy just because a few pixels of his character are exposed. Of course, this aids the user’s reaction time a lot better because the sooner a player registers to his brain that it's an enemy, the sooner he can shoot.
But it’s not just its thermal sight that makes it such a powerful weapon, it can inflict heavy damage as well, with high penetration and destruction profile per shot. With just a few shots it can destroy an unreinforced hatch or puncture a large hole on soft walls, exposing enemies on the other side. It also has high magazine capacity compared to most typical marksman rifles. This marksman rifle also works well at close range because the user can flip its sight into a 1.0x one so that he’ll have a wider peripheral view while aiming down sights.
What Makes OTs-03 Great:
- Comes with a thermal sight which highlights enemies in a bright yellow hue, allowing the user to easily differentiate enemies among all the clutter in the maps
- Comes with a flip sight that provides the user with 4x zoom for long range sniping and a 1.0x sight for dealing with enemies at close range
- Has a higher magazine capacity compared to most typical designated marksman rifles
- Deals heavy damage and has a high destruction profile per shot. Capable of destroying unreinforced hatches with just a few shots.

6. CSRX 300 Marksman Rifle
If we’re talking about firepower per shot then nothing beats Kali’s CSRX 300 DMR. Even at long range, it’s capable of killing or taking down enemies with just one shot. Within its effective range, it will put down medium to heavy armored operators with just one shot to the torso, and light armored ones will be instantly killed. Its penetration power is high enough that it will penetrate two unreinforced walls. This is an absolute beast of a weapon when it comes to inflicting heavy damage and stopping power to enemies.
And with its high penetration power comes a high destruction profile per shot as well. One shot from this monster is capable of puncturing large holes on unreinforced walls and instantly destroying hatches. Each shot is so heavy that it sways Clash’s shield, similar to a melee attack, making this weapon a great support when the Defenders have a Clash. All that needs to be done is to shoot Clash’s shield with the CSRX 300 to have it sway, and have another teammate strafe her. This weapon also comes with a variable 5x and 12x scope, allowing the user to change it with just one press of a button.
What Makes CSRX 300 Great:
- Heavy damage and stopping power capable of instantly killing light armored operators and putting medium to heavy armored ones in a dbno state with just one shot
- Each shot has high destruction profile and penetration power capable of puncturing huge holes and instantly destroying hatches
- Variable 5x and 12x scope provides the user with the highest level of zoom in the game, making it easier to hit enemies at long range.

5. LMG-E
I’m actually surprised that I don’t hear any calls to nerf this weapon from the Siege community, I guess it's because a lot of people are still salty with the removal of Zofia’s Withstand ability. In truth however, this is one of the most overpowered guns in the game and its only weakness is its slow reload speed. That weakness however is mitigated by its very large magazine capacity of 150 bullets before having to reload. And because of that magazine capacity, it’s the perfect weapon for long burst firing and laying down suppressive fire.
The LMG-E also possesses enough damage to take down enemies with just a few shots. It takes three bullets to down a medium or heavy armored operator within its optimal range, and it takes only a couple for light armored ones. Its heavy damage, accompanied by an incredibly large magazine capacity, as well as its very manageable recoil makes Zofia a very fearsome operator to encounter one on one. Because if you don’t take her down quickly, it’ll be very hard to win a gun fight against her because of this weapon.
What Makes LMG-E Great:

4. Mk 14 EBR
This exclusive marksman rifle for Dokkaebi and Aruni is one of the most versatile marksman rifles in the game. It excels at any range, and that is because it doesn’t have a lot of range damage drop-off. It can neutralize light armored operators from any range with just a couple of shots, and can do the same to heavier armored operators with three shots within its optimal range. Another thing that makes it excel at any range is its manageable recoil which allows the user to shoot it with great stability.
Another strength of this weapon is the wide variety of attachments available to it. If the user is great at flick shots and dealing with enemies who appear suddenly at close range, he can opt for the angled grip which will make it faster for the user to go into ADS stance. For more recoil control however, it has the vertical grip, which I personally prefer since I use the suppressor with it. With a vertical grip and a suppressor, it will be effective at long range sniping, and because of its heavy damage, it’ll still work well even at close range.
What Makes Mk 14 EBR Great:
- Heavy damage allowing the user to neutralize enemies with just two or three shots within the weapon’s optimal range
- Wide variety of attachments allows the user to customize it according to his playstyle or the situation that he expects to be in

3. V308 Assault Rifle
The V308 assault rifle, exclusive to Lion, is definitely one of the most overpowered guns in the game. Unlike most assault rifles, this one has an incredibly large magazine capacity, good rate of fire, high damage, and very manageable stock recoil. And because its stock recoil is inherently low, the user is free to equip it with non-recoil providing attachments and still fire the weapon with good stability. This weapon is capable of taking down operators regardless of their armor rating with just three shots at optimal range.
And despite its huge magazine capacity for an assault rifle, its reload time is fast, and because of that, this weapon excels at any range. It also has a wide variety of attachments available to it, making it highly customizable according to the user’s preferred playstyle, range, or the map that the match is going to be played at. Its only perceived weakness its its 700RPM rate of fire, which is honestly not slow at all. This weapon makes Lion one of the most dominating operators in the game.

2. M249 Saw Light Machine Gun
One of the best and mobile light machine guns in the game. The user can basically treat it as a big assault rifle or a submachine gun, because unlike most LMGs, this one has a fast reload speed due to its detachable magazine. And that basically makes this weapon one of the most overpowered guns in the game because it has all the qualities of the typical light machine gun, which is high damage, huge magazine capacity, low recoil, yet this one has a fast reload time.
This weapon is one of the reasons that make Gridlock such a powerful operator who players shouldn’t sleep on. Her M249 Saw excels at any range, yes, even at long range, because it has the 2.5x scope available to it, and with its very manageable recoil, you’ll be able to hit targets with good accuracy even from long distances. At close range, it turns into an oppressive weapon which can make quick work of enemies, reload fast, and take another enemy down.

1. 6P41 Light Machine Gun
The most oppressive weapon in the game right now, especially in the hands of Finka who, with her Adrenal Surge can toughen herself up. With added armor rating and buffs from the Adrenal Surge accompanied by the oppressive power of the 6P41 LMG, Finka is clearly one of the most overpowered operators in the game right now. The 6P41 features heavy damage, low recoil, and good rate of fire. Its only weakness really is its slow reload time.
But with Finka’s Adrenal Surge, that reload time will be lessened, which is another big reason why she and this gun partnered up is really OP and it's understandable why there are a lot of calls to nerf it right now. Another great thing about it is the availability of both the 1.5x and 2.5x scope for its sight. This allows the user to either focus on excelling at close quarters combat, or sacrifice a lot of peripheral view in order to make enemies appear bigger when the user goes into the ADS stance.
What Makes 6P41 Great:
- Huge magazine capacity makes it perfect for laying down suppressive fire and overwhelming enemies with a barrage of bullets
- High damage output makes it capable of downing enemies very quickly, especially at close to medium range.
- Has a negligible suppressor damage penalty, meaning that the user can attach a suppressor to it without sacrificing much damage while benefiting from all the stealth benefits from the suppressor.
