[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Ace Loadouts That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Ace Loadouts in R6 Siege
The five best Ace loadouts that will up the player’s game when using Siege’s best hard breacher

Ace is the best hard breacher in the current meta because his hard breach capabilities are more versatile compared to Thermite’s or Hibana’s. He has three special gadgets for hard breaching called the S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breachers and each of them can open up huge breaches on reinforced walls. Of course, they can also be used for destroying reinforced hatches, and since Ace has three of them, he can destroy all the reinforced hatches above an objective spot, which never goes up to three. The great thing is, Ace has access to great weapons and utility that further augments his ability to perform his role.

5. M1014 with Reflex A + P9 with Suppressor + Claymore

This loadout is for shotgun lovers who excel more with shotguns than they do with fully automatic weapons like the AK-12. Having the M1014 shotgun as Ace’s primary weapon is a very viable option for him, especially for his role as a hard breacher and providing support after fulfilling his role. That means pushing through the breach he created, and oftentimes, that involves engaging enemies at close range where the M1014 shotgun will have superiority. It will be able to take down an opponent with just one shot within its optimal range if all of its pellets hit the opponent’s body.

Having the suppressed P9 handgun when you’re rocking the M1014 shotgun as your primary will give you more versatility, because with it, you will be able to shoot defender gadgets, especially cameras without alerting your enemies. The P9 handgun doesn’t have a strong recoil in the first place, so even without any recoil-providing attachments, you’ll be able to shoot the P9 with great accuracy. And with the added stealth bonuses from the suppressor, the P9 becomes an even  more powerful weapon.

Excels in:

  • Close range superiority due to the M1014 shotgun which packs a heavy punch per shot
  • Additional soft breaching capabilities because of the M1014 shotgun’s presence
  • Ace will be able to perform vertical attacks by destroying wooden floors with the M1014 shotgun
  • Being able to shoot defender cameras without alerting enemies because of the suppressed P9 handgun
  • Protection from roamers, flankers, and run outs because of the two claymores your arsenal

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - M1014 with Reflex A
  • Secondary weapon - P9 with Suppressor
  • Generic gadget - Claymore

4. AK-12 with Scope 1.5x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + P9 with Suppressor + Claymore

What makes the recoil of the AK-12 quite rough is really its horizontal recoil. If you look at its recoil image pattern, starting from the fifth shot, its recoil diamond becomes wider. And because the AK-12 has a pretty fast rate of fire, its recoil even feels rougher. That’s where the compensator comes in. The compensator barrel attachment specializes in reducing the recoil diamond size of weapons; therefore, it reduces the weapon’s horizontal recoil as well as random recoil from all directions.

That is why for many users of operators like Ace who have the AK-12 assault rifle in their arsenal, the compensator is the go-to barrel attachment for making its recoil more stable. The vertical grip also really helps in this because it will greatly reduce the weapon’s vertical recoil. And since you’re not using a suppressor for your primary weapon, it’s a good idea to suppress your handgun so that you can shoot defender cameras or other gadgets while still keeping a low profile. This is especially handy now that the suppressor doesn’t cause any reduction of damage to weapons anymore.

Excels in:

  • Reducing the horizontal recoil of the AK-12 due to the compensator barrel attachment
  • The scope 1.5x will provide a really good balance between zoom levels and peripheral view
  • The vertical grip working hand in hand with the compensator will make the AK-12's recoil stable
  • The suppressed P9 handgun will allow the user to shoot defender gadgets silently
  • The claymores will protect the user and his whole team from roamers, flankers, and runouts.

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - AK-12 with Scope 1.5x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - P9 with Suppressor
  • Generic gadget - Claymore

3. AK-12 with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + P9 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Breach Charge

This loadout setup is mainly for vertical plays – that is, when your team has a Thermite who can perform horizontal hard breaching and it is up to you, the Ace player, to destroy the reinforced hatches. With this loadout, you wouldn’t just be destroying hatches, you would also be able to destroy huge portions of the wooden floor above objective spots using the breach charges. With this tactic, you’ll really make the defenders unsettled because you’ll be able to expose their usual strong angles or spots and you’ll be forcing them out of them, if not outright killing them after you open up a portion of a wooden floor.

The suppressor on the AK-12 for this loadout is important because it hides the directional threat indicator from your shots, removes the muzzle brake, and greatly dampens the AK-12's gunshot sounds. That means when you’re shooting enemies from above, it’ll be harder for them to counter you because you’ll be able to keep them guessing where your shots are coming from. This is a really great time to take advantage of the suppressor’s benefits because it doesn’t reduce the weapon’s damage anymore.

Excels in:

  • Vertical plays due to the breach charges being able to destroy large portions of wooden floor
  • Shooting at enemies without giving away your position because the suppressor will hide your gunshot’s directional threat indicator
  • Gunshots from the AK-12 will also be silenced with the suppressor so enemies will find it hard to pinpoint where you’re shooting from
  • The suppressor will also hide the weapon’s muzzle flash, reducing the visual cues your enemies could react to.
  • Very manageable recoil on the P9 handgun because of the muzzle brake
  • Tight hip fire from the P9 handgun because of the laser

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - AK-12 with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - P9 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Breach Charge

2. AK-12 with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + P9 with Suppressor + Claymore

This loadout is for players who prefer having the best recoil possible for their guns, and this is at #2 even though I usually prefer the suppressor over recoil-benefit providing attachments like the flash hider, compensator, and muzzle brake, because there’s no denying that this is a really viable and strong option for Ace users. With the vertical grip and flash hider working hand in hand to hold down the AK-12's recoil, the user will be able to hit enemies with pinpoint accuracy especially at medium range, which is perfect for Ace’s role of providing backline support after hard breaching.

The suppressor on the P9 handgun is important because you can use that for shooting defender cameras or other gadgets without easily giving your position away to defenders. And since the P9 has a very manageable stock recoil to begin with and the suppressor doesn’t have any damage penalty anymore, you’ll only really feel its stealth benefits. Besides, you’ll only really be using the P9 during rare moments when you need to reload the AK-12 in the middle of a close or medium-range encounter with an enemy.

Excels in:

  • Holding down the recoil of the AK-12 due to the flash hider and vertical grip working together
  • The scope 1.5x providing just enough zoom for close to medium range without sacrificing a lot of peripheral view
  • The flash hider will also hide the weapon’s muzzle flash, reducing the visual cues your enemies could react to.
  • Suppressed P9 handgun will be good for shooting defender cameras without giving your position away
  • The claymores would be great for countering roamers, flankers, and run outs while you’re hard breaching

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - AK-12 with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - P9 with Suppressor
  • Generic gadget - Claymore

Recoil pattern test on the AK-12 in this setup with the author’s own recoil control applied:

1. AK-12 with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + P9 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Claymore

The AK-12 doesn’t have the best recoil compared to most guns in Siege that I recommend players to use a suppressor with. However, its recoil isn’t that bad that the user won’t be able to control it well without a barrel attachment that provides additional recoil control benefits. That’s why the suppressor is the best barrel attachment for the AK-12, because as long as your own recoil control is pretty good, the vertical grip should be enough for you to control the weapon’s recoil well. Especially if you exercise disciplined shooting. Meaning you stick to short bursts firing instead of longer sprays.

Even though the AK-12 will not have a perfect recoil with this loadout, the benefits will outweigh the drawback because the suppressor will allow you to shoot enemies without giving away your position. And since you already have a suppressed weapon for your primary which you can use to shoot defender cameras without alerting enemies, you can attach the muzzle brake on the P9 for better recoil control and the laser for tighter hip fire shooting. The claymore is for protecting yourself and your teammates from roamers and flankers while you’re performing your role as a hard breacher.

Excels in:

  • Not giving your position away when shooting because the suppressor will hide the weapon’s directional threat indicator
  • The suppressed AK-12 will also be much more silent when shooting, reducing the chance of giving away your position through sound cues.
  • Reducing the chance of giving away your position from visual cues due to the removal of the weapon’s muzzle flash from the suppressor
  • The AK-12's recoil will still be manageable because of the vertical grip
  • The scope 1.5x being perfect for close to medium range due to its zoom level
  • Being able to shoot the P9 handgun without much recoil because of the muzzle brake
  • The P9 handgun being effective even with hip fire at close range because of the laser
  • Protecting yourself and the whole team from flankers, roamers, and run outs with the claymores.

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - AK-12 with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - P9 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Claymore
