[Top 3] Marvel Snap Best Invisible Woman Decks And Why They're Good
Invisible Woman is a unique card that will not reveal any of the cards placed on the location with her until after the game is over. This can be really useful if you want to hide your combo pieces, whether you need to remain mysterious for your strategy to work, or if you just want to protect them from an Enchantress or something like that.
Invisible Woman is a really versatile card that has found its place as a necessary combo piece in one deck, we’ll get into it in this list if you don’t know what deck that is, and she’s also used as a tool for protecting your important cards, so that the opponent can’t interact with them since she’s hiding them. There are also a few decks that are less popular that rely on hiding, let's say White Tiger and Odin under the effect of Invisible Woman and then tricking your opponent by putting a lot of power on all locations on the board, but we won’t get into those decks today. We’re looking at the 3 best decks that run Invisible Woman and how you can pilot them properly.
3.Cerebro 2
Cerebro 2 is an archetype that has been in the game since release, but it never really took off and became a meta deck, because too many locations can screw up your gameplan. The goal with this deck, as is with any Cerebro deck, is to play all cards with the same amount of power and then finish the game by playing Cerebro and Mystique to give +4 to all of your cards, and overpower your opponent.
Invisible Woman, in this deck, lets you protect Cerebro and Mystique from potential threats like Rogue and Enchantress, while also giving you a little more freedom, since you don’t have to play Cerebro and Mystique on the last turn together, you just need to play them both behind Invisible Woman. You have a lot of decent cards that go well together like Daredevil, who can help you not miss your Hobgoblin, and getting information on turn 5 is always useful. Mister Sinister and Brood, put a lot of targets for Cerbero’s effect for few energy, and Storm can help you win a location early on, especially when you pair her with Brood.
What This Deck Excels At:
- This deck is able to put a lot of cards on the board quickly, and once you play Cerebro and Mystique you can buff all of your cards up for a lot of power. Just keep in mind that a lot of locations can affect your gameplan really poorly, so snap carefully and don’t shy away from retreating
- Invisible Woman can hide Cerebro and Mystique from their biggest counters, Enchantress and Rogue, even if your opponent plays Enchantress on the location with Invisible Woman, only she will lose her effect, but your opponent won’t have another Enchantress to play to mess with your Cerebro
- Mister Sinister and Brood are really efficient cards that give you a lot of bodies on the field for Cerebro to buff, Brood and Storm are a deadly combo that can win you a location quickly if your opponent is playing a slow deck
- Luke Cage is a really underrated card, since he saves you from a lot of bad locations that lower the power of cards that are played there, he’s not going to fix all of your problems, but when you combine him with Storm who can remove one location, you have a pretty consistent deck
Card List:
- Iceman
- Daredevil
- Invisible Woman
- Luke Cage
- Mister Sinister
- Cerebro
- Mystique
- Brood
- Mister Fantastic
- Storm
- Hobgoblin
- Blue Marvel
2.Patriot
Patriot is no longer the king of the meta, but he’s still a viable choice for anybody who enjoys the playstyle. All patriot decks are similar, and you can change them up depending on what the meta requires. A lot of Ongoing cards in the meta? Swap out Onslaught for Super Skrull. Enchantress stopped you too many times? Add in Enchantress and so forth, but at the center of all of those decks are Patriot and Mystique who buff all of your cards that don’t have effects.
The goal, as we’ve mentioned before, is to play out Patriot and Mystique and as many cards without effects. Invisible Woman here, much like in the previous deck, serves to protect your Ongoing cards, while also having additional synergy with Ultron who swarm the entire board after the game ends, and this is really good at taking sneaky cubes when there are locations that destroy cards at the end of each turn, since they don’t activate after Invisible Woman. Onslaught is another great card that can make all of your cards significantly more powerful you play him on a location with Patriot and Mystique, if you do that, you don’t have to worry too much about playing a lot of cards without effects, since the cards that you have played will be really buffed up and hard to overcome.
What This Deck Excels At:
- Patriot and Mystique will buff up all of your cards without effects by a lot, this synergizes with Wasp, Misty Knight, Squirrel Girl, Mister Sinister, Debrii and of course, Ultron
- Ultron is a great card that can bring you a lot of value on the last turn, but he’s weak to a surprise Killmonger. Invisible Woman prevents that risk, and makes Ultron reveal after whatever your opponent has played on the last run
- Debrii is a great counter for Galactus, he hasn’t been as prominent in the meta as in the last season, but he still has his place, and you’ll encounter him often in the higher ranks
- Invisible Woman is a great way to protect your cards, which is usually Patriot’s biggest weakness, since one Killmonger or Enchantress can lose you the game
Card List:
- Wasp
- Squirrel Girl
- Misty Knight
- Invisble Woman
- Mister Sinister
- Mystique
- Patriot
- Debrii
- Shang-Chi
- Blue Marvel
- Onslaught
- Ultron
1.Hela Discard
Hela decks have been popular for a while now, but since the release of MODOK, Invisible Woman has become a key part of these decks that can generate insane value if you draw the necessary cards.
The goal in Hela decks is to discard as many cards as possible, while not discarding Hela, then once you play Hela, you will bring all of those cards back to the field, and probably win the game since you usually manage to discard a lot of powerful cards. The strongest combo in this deck is playing Invisible Woman, to prevent MODOK from discarding your hand with Hela in it, then playing MODOK, then Hela afterwards. This causes your entire hand to get discarded and summoned back to the field after your opponent has already played out all of his strongest cards and can’t respond to your plays. This deck is rather risky, since you won’t be able to play that combo out each game, and you have to be really careful with your cube management, since Hela can easily get discarded and then your chances of winning the game get significantly worse.
What This Deck Excels At:
- This deck requires good cube management, since you might have to retreat a few games in a row, but then once your combo pops off, you can easily get a lot of cubes for each victory
- Invisible Woman makes it possible for MODOK and Hela to both be played out on the board without the risk of MODOK, or any other card discarding Hela
- MODOK also gives a lot of value to Morbius, who can be an underrated powerhouse near the end of the game, since your opponent might not expect him to grow from 0 to 10 power on the last turn
- Helicarrier is a great alternate win condition, since he can give you some nice 6-cost cards that might even win you the game after you discard him. He’s not as reliable as your main MODOK and Hela combo, but he’s a good card that always gives you a little additional value, especially if you discard him once, before using MODOK’s effect
Card List:
- Morbius
- Invisible Woman
- Gambit
- Lady Sif
- Sword Master
- Black Cat
- Ghost Rider
- MODOK
- Hela
- Helicarrier
- Infinaut
- Death
