The Token Shop was recently added to Marvel Snap. It’s one of the key features and the best way to get cards that you need. You have to be strategic in choosing the cards that you want since you don’t get tokens too often.

Here we have a few great cards to start you off. Most of the cards you can either build a deck around or they are a great addition to most decks. 

15.Leader

Leader was a meta card for a while, but now after his nerf, he is more fun to play and less toxic! His effect will copy all the cards that your opponent played on the location to the right of Leader.

Now, there’s more skill in playing Leader and setting up the board, so that you can accurately predict and copy your opponent’s cards. You will want to play Leech with Leader so that the cards your opponent plays on turn 6 don't have effects that can negatively impact your board after you copy them.

14.Lockjaw

Lockjaw is a card that can bring you a lot of value, but it can also be very unlucky with the pulls from the deck. Lockjaw’s effect will swap whatever card you played on his location with a random card from your deck. 

Building a deck with Lockjaw is rather easy. Add a lot of cards that cost 0 or 1, add thor because of Mjolnir, and add a lot of expensive cards that you want to pull from your deck. Once you play Lockjaw, play cheap cards on his location and hope that you pull out cards with a lot of power.

13.Wave

Wave is a great card that can turn the tides of a game. Her effect will make all cards cost 4 on the turn after she’s played. You can use this to cheat out big cards that can bring you a ton of value.

Your opponent’s cards will also cost 4, but if you’re running Wave, you’re going to get more value out of her effect than your opponent. She is necessary if you want to play Galactus, and she can combo very well with Taskmaster, since you get to play him on turn 5, after whatever big card you play on your 4th turn.

12.Hela

Hela is a very good card that makes Discard decks good. Hela’s effect will play all the cards that you’ve discarded on random locations. All you need to set up decks with her is add a lot of discard cards and a lot of high powered cards.

She’s a good way to cheat out big cards like Infinaut, Magneto and Hulk on the last turn of the game. In early pool 3, your opponents are inexperienced so they probably won’t expect such a big turn 6, so you can use Hela for some quick and easy cubes.

11.Taskmaster

Taskmaster is a great card that can quickly give you a lot of power. His effect will copy the power of the last card that you played. This is especially useful when you build a deck around him that aims to get a lot of big cards out on the field quickly.

He has the most synergy with Red Skull and Typhoid Mary. Those cards have a lot of power for a little energy, but they also have drawbacks. Playing Taskmaster after them, will get you all the power without any of the drawbacks. 

10.Aero

Aero is a great card that can change the course of the game if played correctly. Her effect will move all of the cards that your opponent has played on the turn that you play Aero.

You can use it to move all of the cards to a location that you expect to lose anyway, or maybe move them to the location where you’ve played Kingpin before. In any case, interfering with your opponent’s card placement is a good effect, and her cost-power ratio is still good.

9.Ultron

Ultron is a great finishing card, especially in Patriot and Kazar decks. Ultron’s effect will create a drone on each empty space that’s left on the field.

Ultron is not the most flexible card that you can run in a lot of decs, but he’s a key component to getting a good Patriot and Kazar decks, since they will greatly increase the power of the drones.

8.Absorbing Man

Absorbing Man is a great card that can be used in many decks. His effect lets him copy the On Reveal effect of the previous card you’ve played if it has an On Reveal effect. Now is a perfect time to buy him since he isn’t in pool 4 anymore, and has moved down to pool 3.

Absorbing Man is most often used in combination with Zabu and Spider-Man. If you’ve bought the previous season pass, you will have Zabu unlocked and all you need is Spider-Man. If you play Spider-Man and Absorbing Man both on turn 5, you can probably secure the victory on turn 6, since your opponent can’t play cards on the locations that you’ve webbed.

7.She-Hulk

She-Hulk is a card with a lot of power that you can cheat out easily on turn 6. Her effect makes her cost 1 less for each mana you didn’t spend last turn. She’s a very useful card and she just moved down from pool 4.

She-Hulk is a great card in virtually any deck, since she can be a low-cost 10 power. If you ever expect to be skipping some turns, She-Hulk will make your deck better. She goes best with cards like Sunspot and Infinaut which can often lead to a really explosive turn 6.

6.Wong

Wong is a great card that can be used in many decks and his effect can easily win you the game. Wong’s effect will double all On Reveal effects that happen on the location that Wong's played at.

It’s a good card to buy early on in pool 3, since you can build a lot of decks that rely on Wong. There are some really cool combos with cards like Black Panther and Anim Zola, but also you’ll be able to build some good early pool 3 decks with White Tiger and Odin.

5.Patriot

Patriot is a key-card for an easy-to-build deck that will boost your cards that don’t have any effects. His Ongoing ability will give +2 power to all cards on your side that don’t have effects. This deck is fun to play, and if you get a few more good cards, it can be very successful.

Patriot pairs very well with other pool 3 cards like Ultron, Doctor Doom and Mystique. If you manage to get these cards as well, you can easily build a good deck that can carry you very far. 

4.Deadpool

Deadpool is a great 1-cost card that you can build a deck around. His effect will double his power every time he’s destroyed, which is a very fun mechanic for a deck in my opinion.

You’ll want to run a lot of cards that can destroy Deadpool, so that you get him to a lot of power. He’s a very useful card that synergizes a lot with Death, which is another great Destroy deck support.

3.Mister Negative

Mister Negative is a key card that can let you build some very strong decks around it. His effect lets you swap the power and cost of all cards in your deck. Luckily, there are a few good pool 1 and 2 cards that have high cost and low power and a good effect.

Mister Negative is a pool 3 card. You can build a good early pool 3 Mister Negative deck with cards like Iron Man, White Tiger and Iron Heart. As you progress through pool 3, consider adding Magik, because another turn in a Mister Negative deck can easily add a lot of power on your side of the board.

2.Mystique

Mystique is a great card that can be used in a combination with a lot of other cards for a great increase in value. She will copy the Ongoing effect of the last card you’ve played.

She is used in a lot of decks. If you’re planning on running Cerebro, Wong, or Patriot you’ll probably want to get Mystique. Those are some examples of cards with great Ongoing effects that she can copy. 

1.Death

Death is a card with the highest cost in the game, but most of the time you’ll play her for very little energy or even for free! Her effect lowers her cost by 1 for each card you’ve destroyed this game.

She is a key card for all Destroy decks. She combos very well with Deadpool since you’ll want to be destroying him as much as you can. Consider adding Squirrel Girl and Killmonger to lower her cost quickly and play her on turn 6 for easy 12 power.
