Logan Movie Release Date and All Trailers You Need To Watch

Logan Movie, Logan trailers, Best Logan trailers, Logan movie release date
Logan definiely looks like a new kind of X-Men movie, one you don’t want to miss. Find out why here.

Are you ready for Hugh Jackman's last movie as Wolverine?

Logan hit screens on the 3rd of March 2017, already receiving fantastic reviews it looks like this is one you don’t want to miss. If like me you haven’t gotten around to actually seeing it yet, then these trailers should definitely get you in the mood to do so.

The official trailer

Something a little darker than usual...

The official trailer certainly sets the scene for the movie in a much more serious vibe than any other X-Men trailer before it. Ominous music and dramatic scenes are aplenty as it unfolds and entices us with its more subtle than usual splashes of action and an overwhelming sense that there isn’t much left of the mutant world. Though generally light on any details it does seem to set the scene fairly well and let us know what kind of ride we are in for.

We can already see that a big part of this film is going to be this girl who is ‘very much’ like Wolverine. I don’t know about you but the trailer is pretty enticing and does want me to know exactly who she is. Fortunately the next trailer does seem to show us a little more, but we’ll get to that in a moment.

We also see that a well aged professor Xavier features in the movie, Patrick Stuart always a fantastic addition to any X-Men party if you ask me. It certainly looks like he hasn’t had the best of times though, leading to the question – what exactly has happened to the X-Men team? The settings and scenery certainly look almost post-apocalyptic and create quite the atmosphere of desperation and ruin. Colour me intrigued.

The official trailer 2

Definitely looks like this isn't going to be a walk in the park.

So if that first trailer didn’t get you going, then this second one is bound to. This one seems to set the storyline up in more detail, showing us far more about the relationship between Logan and this mystery girl who very much seems like a little version of Wolverine. I get the impression there will be a great deal of deeper character connections that develop over the course of the film after watching this one, definitely a lot more than we have seen before in any X-Men film.

Hugh Jackman recently said that Logan will be his final Wolverine movie and that this is most he’s ever been involved creatively in the entire film-making process. For him this is the definitive Wolverine film and he has said he’s never felt there’s been more at stake, has never been as personal to him, and he has never been more invested in than the movie ‘Logan’. Coupled with the reviews this film has been getting I’m really getting the impression I should take the time to watch it.

Now back to the little girl, I’m definitely starting to get the impression there is a deeper connection to her and our clawed friend than meets the eye– I’m pretty sure this will be a key part of the film. So what about her? Who exactly is she, I wonder... If only there was some kind of speculation regarding that somewhere. Anyway, the next ‘trailer’ shows us a little more about her.

Laura's Origin Clip

Blurry origin clip? Yes please.

This one is a teaser of this little girl ‘Laura’ and her origin. Though very light on details it certainly looks like she has the same super regenerative abilities as Logan as well as presumably an Adamantium skeleton surgically installed by some sinister and evil group. That combined with all the agility and savagery we’ve seen in the trailers so far it definitely looks like she will be an interesting character for Logan to ‘bond’ with.

Either way after watching these three trailers I get the impression this might be more than just the average X-Men movie. I wouldn’t say that I’m a hardcore fan of X-Men and I didn’t see many of the others in the cinema, but this one I really think I will. Obviously it’s up to you if you take the time to go and see this one or just wait to enjoy it in the comfort of your own home – either way I’d suggest seeing it.
