SWKOTOR is the best way to fulfilling your chance of being a Jedi. What side you’re on depends on your actions and choice of words… Light side or Dark side. It offers a lot of options in character creation. Go to distant destinations and meet various personalities of different species. Team up with NPCs and do battle to fulfill your missions. This game puts you exactly where you want to be… as a Jedi armed with your lightsaber, in a battle against the Siths, and the Force to help you on your way.

An absolute epic. No RPG fan should miss this. Even if you are not much into Star Wars. The story is immense, dialogues very creative, characters development is fantastic and action is challenging. The light and dark side duality is important part of the game and your character can go either way, depending upon your acts and decisions. Fantastic games, playable for hundreds of times.

Playing KOTOR I & II is a wonderful breath of fresh air after experiencing the tragically awful Disney movies. The gameplay in Knights of the Old Republic is deep and engaging and the story is emotional with simply amazing dialogue and character development. These games truly understand the mythos of Star Wars and I rank them right up with the highest quality Star Wars stories along with the original trilogy. I highly recommend KOTOR 1 & 2 to any Star Wars fan or RPG fan.

I've played this game over 35 times and have become familiar with all the ins and out of most every quest in the game. The story is epic and makes you feel as if your actions will have lasting effects throughout the galaxy, no matter how small the decision seems. The story was well-written with excellent character development. Choose the right Force Powers and you will feel like a demi-god. No Spoilers! So if you want to know how the story truly plays out, you'll have to play the game. You won't regret it, especially if you are a hardcore Star Wars fanatic.

This is an awesome game. The story and quests are well set out, the fighting is unique, where one can pause a battle and customize which hero or unit will do what. The game is based on Star wars, obviously, and contains some of the movie characters. I would recommend it to those who love Star wars and want to control their own Jedi or Sith.

A legendary RPG which hammers every role-playing nail to create a perfect picture of what the genre has to offer. Immersive character creation, meaningful choices from the get-go, tactical, but fluid combat and masterfully written companions create a unique Star Wars experience that gives you a sense of purpose with each dialogue choice from the first conversation to the last one. A mature story full of twists and surprises is what makes this game one of the best ever in its category.

It’s one of the best games ever. Not only it pleases the fans of the saga, but even a person without passion for Star Wars will get involved in this amazing tale. Has brilliant RPG elements and intense characters. Prepare to be shocked by a huge twist near the ending. No spoilers, you have to play it.

With it's release, KOTOR had set a benchmark - not only for the RPG genre, but for fans of Star Wars as well. Character classes were well-balanced, abilities well implemented and feats that made you godlike with the right implementation. Of course, the selling point is the story, and what a great one it is! A cardinal sin for any self-respecting Star Wars fan to miss out on.

KOTOR is a classic among RPGs steeped in choices that impact the world and characters around you. With wookiees, starships, lightsaber battles, a team at your back, and the quest to uncover the truth of who your character is in this universe, it takes you across the galaxy on a journey that you won't want to end.

The consummate RPG. Detailing the life of a nameless soldier fighting the Sith, you will develop powers, friendships, and rivalries as you progress. The story is approaching perfection, and is the main draw of this game, especially since all other aspects do not impress; combat, crafting, and minigames.
