Borderlands 2
Borderlands 2 (2012)
Five years after the events of Borderlands, the valuable mineral, Eridium, has appeared across the planet and Handsome Jack has arrived to take over the 'civilized' planet. Claiming responsibility for finding the vault, Jack has ruled Pandora with a reign of terror, side-lining the original vault hunters.
In Borderlands 2, players take on the role as one of four new vault hunters, this time looking for both a new, greater vault, and the end of Handsome Jack's tyranny, with the help of allies both old and new.

This game was, and still is, hilarious to play. I can't remember if there's any significant mods to play, but I remember my brother and I having a blast playing this when we were younger! Much like it's first addition, the characters are hilarious, the scenery is pretty neat, and the overall fighting style for the game is fun.

"We've really come a long way, haven't we, minion? And you're still just as loyal as ever! Who's a good minion? You are! Yes you are!"

I remember playing this game a while ago and I remember the weapon customization and characters were some of the best parts of it. I can vaguely remember the story or the quests but I can definitely recommend playing it for a fun gun game!

Great if you have friends to play with. Gets a bit tiring in the classic MMO way with the repetitive go and kill so many creatures missions. Also, there is an annoying bug in the early game where if you kill the last creature in the intro/tutorial while standing to close to the NPC you speak to next he won't speak to you and you have to restart the mission because the gate doesn't open till he talks to you.

The world of Pandora: fantastically beautiful, in a horrifying and disturbing sort of way, though being accompanied with a friend, (or three) is sure to make it more pleasant. A great FPS with a mesmerizing story and captivating plot twists, you ought to have fun blasting odd little creatures away in this cartoonish universe.

Borderlands 2, An excellent game, the graphics is a crayon look, termed "concept art style", it also has a good story line. The 4 player co-op option is similar to that of Left 4 Dead, which is great fun with friends. The world in Borderlands is called Pandora, It is a desolate and dry world, with strange creatures and monsters that are hostile toward the humans.

For somebody who isn't a big fan of the FPS genre, Borderlands was a really pleasant surprise. The sequel improves on almost all aspects of the original, and Gearbox has honestly struck gold with this one - from the quirky characters and dialogue from the single player campaign to the awesome online community and seemingly endless supply of expansions, Borderlands 2 has shown the gaming world how you don't necessarily need to be an FPS fan to enjoy one.

I was instantly hooked and reeled to Borderlands 2. This time around Borderlands had more action, more enemies that were more concerned with strategy, and most definitely more guns! The game had a new exhilarating energy about that had several hours of promising fun that got better with friends.

Borderlands 2 takes what was distinct about the original and puts a more definitive story into it. Now we have Handsome Jack, a cocky adventurer turned corporate ceo who still thinks of himself as “the hero.” He's fun to hear, but the loot and baddest weapons are the real focus of Borderlands. Borderlands 2 delivers plenty of guns with tons of fire power, plus new characters that make the replayability factor much higher. I love this game!

I love this game just got my gunzerker to max level, and I am still excited to replay it on true vault hunter mode. The class customization, and the loot are what keep me playing on harder and harder difficulties.

This game is not too complex to learn but has enough scenario's, character types and adventures to keep it fun and interesting. I enjoy the humour! Sometimes you just want to go out and shoot things, sometimes you want to quest and this game has both. There are several ways to level up and enhance your characters abilities. I like to loot and there is plenty of that too. You can play alone or with others, as you please. I like the map features! There is something for everyone. Have Fun!

Worthy of every penny, Bordlands 2 offers up a laugh as bullets blaze in this FPS/RPG game style. Chalked full of objectives, customizable characters, deep ability trees, and missions that make this game's replay value worth the buy alone! Four starting characters with vastly different styles, a unique graphical experience, with one-liners and a story that will suck you in and spit you out a gun-blazing berserker by the end!

As funny as it is rip-roaringly playable, the franchise continues to mash genres and deliver on all promise. If this game had nothing else to recommend it (it does by the way), then the levelling system and the co-op mode alone would be enough to make this one of the finest titles of the year.

I'd like to say that Borderlands 2 is one great sequel for one great game. The dialogue in this game is amazing and the introducion to one of the best video game villians of all time makes this game an epic game. The story is pretty straight forward and the difficulty isn't very steep, but the amount of side quests will keep you on your toes as you get better weapons throughout the game. It also features a co-op campaign up to 4 players for the best fps experience for you and your friends.

Borderlands 2 contains everything that made the first game amazing. From the great mix of shooter and RPG mechanics to the outrageous humor that made you feel guilty for laughing at the burning psycho in front of you. It adds enough to be worthy of a new game, A new villain that you´ll love to hate, new characters with their own personalities, a "quintigazillion" weapons, The new Badass rank system that allows for global bonuses that benefit all your characters and more. Come, play, enjoy!!
