It has been 15 years since the Dunwall Plague, but all is not good. Emily Kaldwin has been dethroned by a foreign usurper and she is considered as an outlaw. Determined to get her throne back, she follows her mentor’s, Corvo Attano’s, ways in becoming an assassin.

The game features two playable characters. In the prologue we have to play as Emily Kaldwin, and later on, we have a choice to play as either Emily or Corvo. The game brings back all the features of the previous title backed by a solid story.
